BMW Club Car Corral at SOVREN Vintage Races

You are invited to join us for the BMW CCA Puget Sound Chapter’s return to the Car Corral at the 31stPacific Northwest Historic Races on Saturday, July 6thfrom 8:30 am – 5:00 pm at Pacific Raceways in Kent and presented by the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN) and Pacific NW Historic Racing Charities with proceeds benefitting the Seattle Children’s Hospital Uncompensated Care Fund.
This year’s feature will be the 50thanniversary of IMSA Racing with a wide range of rare and beautiful pre-1985 vintage/historic race cars from BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lotus, Ford, Chevrolet and other manufacturers. Guest celebrities include Kathy Rude (first IMSA class win by a female driver at the 1982 24 Hours of Daytona) and Mitch Bishop (author and son of IMSA founder John Bishop) who will provide a fascinating perspective into IMSA’s early days while the pit/paddock area offers up-close and unparalleled access to both the race cars and their drivers between races. All Car Corral participants will also have the opportunity to participate in lunch-time parade laps on the Pacific Raceways track.
Your club has reserved an initial ten Car Corral parking spots, which could increase to 20 spots depending on the ticket demand. Cost for car and driver is $30 and the registration deadline is June 10th. Please remit your check for $30 payable to BMW CCA Puget Sound Region to the following address:

You will receive your Car Corral passes/race tickets by June 30thwhile passenger tickets will be available for purchase at the gate by cash, check or credit card. Cost for an adult passenger ticket is $25 while children ages 7 to 16 are just $5.
