BMW Dyno Day & BBQ Event
June 9 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
AKA, gear head get-together, bench racing session with proof or just all around good time with car show and food
It’s time for our 14th annual Rubber Meets the Rollers event. Come out and give your Bimmer a good flogging and let’s see what kind of horsepower those mods really make. Typically we run between 25 to 35 cars so sign up early. Last year’s top honors was an M5 competition package car making 562 whp in stock form (I think someone at BMW is fudging the numbers because that is about the rated gross horse power) I will have my boosted E36 M3 sporting a meth system out for a run. Would love to see an M2’or a tuned/turbo’ed E30?
Alex and the guys at the Carb Connection in Kirkland are hosting our dyno tech session for our club at a discounted rate. Saturday, June 9th we will pay only $85 dollars (normally $145) to run our cars on their dyno jet 248 4wd dyno. Make up to 3 runs and get a print out of your cars actual horse power and torque at the wheels as well as air fuel ratio. Byo flash drive and they will save the file on it as well.
The club will be providing the BBQ and refreshments around noon. There is plenty of parking on the back side of the building by the dyno room, so weather you’re going to run your car or not join fellow gear heads in having a great time.
